Haldia Brajalalchak Welfare Organization was established by a group of people from the different cross-sections of the society with their different cultures and professions in the year 2017 with the following objectives;

1. To establish, acquire, start, aid, run, manage technical or vocational training centre for the benefit of society.
2. To set up computer centers, laboratories to spread computer literacy and up gradation of knowledge and skills in the field of computer science and technology.
3. To establish laboratories and research centers for the cultivation of totality in the area of science, technology, culture and humanities.
4. To arrange and organize lectures, debates, discussions, seminars and excursions for the diffusion of knowledge and advancement of human civilization.
5. To publish or cause to be published useful literatures, magazines etc. without profit motive.
6. To study, cultivate and demonstrate the art of music and dancing.
7. To help and assist the needy & poor students of all communities for the progress of studies.
8. To help the aged, sick, helpless and indigent persons in the society.
9. To work for the happiness of the down trodden needy people for their primary needs such as food, cloth, education and shelter etc.
10. To import and develop social awareness among the illiterate women and men by organizing awareness camps from time to time.
11. To organize ambulance for free rendering services to the needy patients.
11. To establish and maintain the basic and adult education centers to remove illiteracy.
13. To organize, run and manage projects on environment and environmental pollutions.
13. To open, organize and manage charitable dispensaries, first aid centre, blood donation camps from time to time and to generate awareness among people regarding Thalassemia, Cancer and HIV /AIDS, TB etc.
13. To render relief to the victims of suffering in time of famine, flood, drought, earthquake, cyclones, and other natural calamities.
16. To promote awareness about environment and to arrange tree plantation in the localities to combat pollutions and beautification of public places, road sides etc.
17. To help, promote and organize Self Help Group (SHG) based programme for augmentation of the livelihood opportunities of the people at the grass root level as being beneficial to the public and society.
18. To arrange and organize old-age-home to help the needy people of the society.
19. To arrange for medical treatment to the distressed people and those who are physically challenged by rendering qualified doctors, medicines and other allied articles free of cost.
20. To help poor people in marriage, funeral and cremation of the dead.
21. To publish newsletters, journals and magazines periodically from the society.
5. To organize, manage and set up for program and courses on water quality management.
23. To conduct and promote training on rowing and swimming and marine awareness.

The functions and objectives of the society shall always remain restricted within the meaning of the section 4(2) of the West Bengal Society Registration Act. 1961 irrespective of any object mentioned in the present document in agreement or opposed to the said section.

The income and properties of the society whatsoever derived or obtained shall be applied solely towards the promotion of the object of the society and no portion-thereof shall be paid to or divided amongst any of its members by way of profits.
